Angleton, Texas (Monday, September 18, 2017) – Third Coast Aviation (‘TCA‘) is pleased to announce today that it will start operations at its headquarters in the Texas Gulf Coast Regional Airport (KLBX) today. Previous to last Wednesday, the service entrance road to KLBX was covered with water even though the KLBX Fixed Based of Operations (‘FBO‘) had not been flooded during the Harvey flooding, which made flight training for Third Coast Aviation impossible. TCA had moved its fleet of three planes from KLBX to Pearland Regional Airport (KLVJ) prior to Hurricane Harvey, so we didn’t have any damage to our fleet. Since September 6, 2017, TCA had limited flight operations at KLVJ.
“Thanks to our existing relationship with Randy Whalberg at Air Professionals at KLVJ, we were able to conduct flights and our students were able to fly after the hurricane. We are excited to be back at our headquarters at KLBX.“Tony Boulanger, President of Third Coast Aviation
