Aircraft Acquisition Services by TCA

March 7, 2018 (Ellington Field in Houston, Texas) — Third Coast Aviation LLC (“TCA“) announces the addition of aircraft acquisition services and integration with its flight training services, hence adding an important customer value proposition.  Our aircraft acquisition services follows our business plan implementing a documented process with measurable results, integrating our other offerings into our service.

Aircraft Acquisition services process

Our TCA Aircraft Acquisition Services documented process looks like:

  1. Initial interview with customer / pilot
    1. Sign TCA agreement and fee ($800)
    2. Define “wants
    3. Pilot skills interview with one of our Certified Flight Instructors (CFI)
    4. Review Pilot insurance history
    5. Explore financial capabilities
  2. Interaction
    1. Customer selects 1 to 3 aircraft candidates from aircraft inventory presented (usually 10 or more)
    2. Submit requested financial documents to TCA if financing
  3. Report customer presentation
    1. Negotiated aircraft offer
    2. Gap analysis” between pilot skills and those required for aircraft selected
    3. Training plan
    4. TCA proposal for implementing training plan
    5. Financing options, including
      1. Financing institutions meeting customer’s needs
      2. Options for terms & interest
    6. Escrow options
    7. Possible income generating options for acquired aircraft
  4. Escrow
    1. Submit customer documents to financial institution
    2. Customer escrow deposit (customer paid)
    3. A&P aircraft inspection directed by TCA (customer paid)
    4. Presentation to customer of inspection report and “gap analysis
  5.  Closing
    1. Execution / signing

Our fees reflect industry standards at six (6%) to eight percent (8%) and are based on a sliding scale associated with the aircraft’s acquisition cost.  Because this service has been delivered without the documented process previously, we believe the added value is an exciting addition to the aviation community.
